Summary: The Business Program Manager will support the New Product Experimentation (NPE) organization by leading a number of program management efforts associated with successful business strategy, planning, and operations. The NPE team is made up of small teams - “pods” - of designers, engineers, and product managers.T hey will partner closely with NPE innovation leaders and their teams, as well as with cross functionally with teams across Facebook. As a Business Program Manager, you will drive the successful execution of significant and high visibility projects on behalf of business project sponsors. You will ensure assembly of the right cross-functional team, build alignment and support among key stakeholders, tailor the most appropriate project management framework, and lead the overall execution across all aspects of the projects.The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, get-things-done professional who can think strategically, adapt quickly, and rapidly earn credibility and trust with all levels of the organization. They will have demonstrated the ability to coordinate with cross-functional leads on time/mission critical operational issues spanning Infrastructure, Legal, Communications, Finance, HR, and other interdependent teams. This person will be highly organized, productive, poised, and able to thrive in high-pressure, time-sensitive scenarios.This position is based in Menlo Park, CA.Required Skills:

Project manage NPE business processes, communications, business updates (business reviews, management team updates etc.) and resource allocations.

Own and operate the rhythm of the business and leadership meetings including but not limited to: agenda, follow-up actions, notes, etc.

Develop and manage end-to-end project and program plans and ensure on-time delivery. Provide day-to-day coordination and communication of projects and tasks.

Support and act as an extension of NPE leadership team.

Interface and consult regularly with internal cross-functional teams.

Be a representative in planning, strategy and cross-functional meetings and events.

Stay up-to-date with trends in business, commerce and technology.

Continually refine best practices for cross-functional program management consistent with Facebook culture.

Build relationships, gain consensus, remove tension/roadblocks and focus on the solution.

Minimum Qualifications:

7+ years of program management experience or equivalent experience.

Experience shifting priorities while maintaining organization and control.

2+ years of experience supporting senior executives, director level and above as a program manager or Chief of Staff

2+ years of experience working on operational issues spanning Legal, Communications, Finance, and HR

Communication experience and experience working with technical management teams to help develop processes and solutions.

Experience navigating business structures while maintaining confidentiality and discretion.

Experience establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones.

Experience operating autonomously across multiple teams, demonstrated critical thinking, and thought leadership.

Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope.

Experience motivating and focusing a group of people/organization to reach challenging goals.

Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.

Experience walking the line between business and technology.

Experience capturing concepts and communicating them to stakeholders.
