A leading FinTech company is looking for a strong Macintosh developer to join its Mac team. As a member of the team, you will develop the new features that our customers desire and improve the existing features they already love.The successful candidate will join a fast-paced software development team building the next generation of their Macintosh application. The team uses the latest software development technology and tools in an agile environment, and we have transitioned to building all new features in Swift. Responsibilities:This is an opportunity to be a highly visible and key contributor to a passionate team delivering innovative native desktop solutions. You’ll help shape and deliver on an aggressive and innovative roadmap in areas key to the company’s continued success and growth.As a member of the company’s product development organization, you will develop and enforce best practices in development while working with requirements from key stakeholders across the organization. You will participate in the planning, design, and implementation of features, working with engineers, product managers, and UX designers. You will ensure the delivery of quality solutions. You will demonstrate strong technical talent throughout the organization and engineer products that meet future scalability, performance, security, and quality goals while maintaining a cohesive user experience across the app. You will act as a subject matter expert for various areas of the app. You will train and mentor junior members regarding best practices of software development methodology and frameworks in areas including UX/UI, the Cocoa framework, use of backend APIs and services, usability, and quality testing.

Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of experience with Cocoa and Objective-C
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with Swift
  • Must be strong at UI
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Experience working closely with multiple stakeholders, Architects, Project Managers, UX designers and researchers, marketing, and engineering teams
  • Experience and understanding of testing and optimization
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Understanding of software design patterns
  • Deep understanding of good software architecture concepts
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other technical disciplines, or equivalent experience
Desired Skillset:
  • SwiftUI is a plus
