Summary
Position is responsible for the planning, administration and maintenance of a non-profit, job training and supportive service organizations technology resources. Position ensures that all areas of the organization receive the necessary support and service required for their success. Position manages/supervises IT Department employees.
Examples of Duties:
1. Configure and maintain WAN/VPN across multiple sites. Install, troubleshoot and repair/replace
servers, workstations, routers, wireless access points, etc.
2. Supervise IT Department staff.
3. Help plan and oversee technology initiatives, upgrades and implementations.
4. Meet with end users and all business units to ascertain, develop and deploy office automation
solutions.
5. Act as liaison between users and cloud-based service providers.
6. Develop MS SQL Server databases and reporting systems.
7. Maintain corporate website and provide technical support for corporate social media presence.
8. Maintain software licenses and subscriptions.
9. Maintain good working relationships with technology vendors.
10. Provide support desk and onsite help to approximately 100 employees including set up of email accounts for new employees, etc. spanning Counties of Madera, Merced and Stanislaus.
11. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
1. BA/BS in computer science, information technology, or closely related field.
2. 3+ years administering MS Server/Active Directory environment.
3. 3+ years administering routers (including VPN configuration) and Wireless Access Points (WiFi).
4. 3+ years developing reports with Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services or similar tools.
5. Proficiency with HTML, Content Management Systems (WordPress, etc.) and scripting languages
(JavaScript, PHP, etc).
6. Ability to develop applications using VB, VBA and/or C# is preferred.
7. Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot complex hardware/software issues.
8. Ability to communicate ideas effectively to all levels of users.
9. Knowledge of PBX phone and voicemail systems.
10. Valid CA Drivers License and minimum automobile liability insurance (must allow work-related
driving).
