Job Description
Valley TechLogic is growing! The Systems Engineer position is a key contributor in the success of managing our client's networks. This is achieved by quickly resolving issues by constantly monitoring alerts from our automated systems and tickets opened by our clients.
We are looking for loyal, personable and gifted Engineers to provide excellent support services to our client's servers, networks, workstations and applications. We serve a diverse list of clients from Medical, Dental, CPA, Legal, and Mortgage companies to list a few. Overall we monitor just under 1000 workstation/servers which includes on average 10 to 80 users per site. We have a tight-knit group of specialist and are particularly interested with inviting new technicians on board who will fit well on our team.
Qualifications
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Be highly organized
Have good written and oral communication skills
Possess an inclination for learning new technologies quickly
Have Service/Help Desk and/or NOC experience
At least four years of experience diagnosing hardware issues, administering networks and performing end user support
Necessary server and network skills
Server configuration & deployment projects
Include experience or certification with:
Hyper V or VMWare ESXi
Windows Server 2008 and Above
Exchange 2007 and Above
Some MySQL
Active Directory Services Experience
Firewalls and Routers
LANs WANs VPNs
Network backup technologies
Windows 7, 8, & 10 Experience
