Overview
Bear Creek Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide high-quality maintenance services for our two apartment communities: Creekside Apartments and Bear Creek Park Apartments. This role focuses on maintaining the properties’ value and ensuring a safe, attractive environment for residents. A construction background is a plus, as it enables assistance with exterior repairs and property improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Complete maintenance requests and repairs promptly and professionally.
Schedule and perform maintenance tasks for apartment turnovers.
Monitor and manage inventory of equipment, tools, and supplies.
Ensure properties meet safety and operational standards.
Maintain curb appeal and cleanliness of property exteriors, including grounds, breezeways, and common areas.
Perform routine swimming pool maintenance and maintain chemical logs.
Assist with exterior repairs and improvements as needed.
Communicate effectively with residents and team members to resolve complaints promptly.
Participate in the on-call rotation for weekend services.
Qualifications
Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, and general property maintenance.
At least one year of maintenance experience, ideally in multifamily housing.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must live within 30 miles of the property and have reliable transportation.
Ability to safely use hand tools, ladders, and general maintenance equipment.
Preferred Qualifications
Background in construction or exterior repair work.
Physical Requirements
Lift and transport up to 50 pounds.
Work outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
Climb ladders and work at heights exceeding 8–9 feet.
Perform frequent bending, stooping, and other physical tasks.
