Description:The client has been working on migrating existing application on Windows platform to the Android platform. Application are associate facing apps in store used by the associates for their day to day work. Requirements:Technical job description for Android Dev:
- 6+ years of Software Development experience
- Good attitude and willing to learn.
- Should be able to work independently.
- Worked on Android 4.4 and above
- Working experience in Kotlin based development
- Experience with delivering Android application with large userbase
- Expertise on Services , Broadcast Receivers.
- Hands – on with Reactive programming
- Excellent communication skills and good analytical skills.
- Experience with HTTP and RESTful web services and caching especially in HTTP compliant caches – knowledgeable about frameworks like Retrofit , Picasso or Volley.
- Fundamental understanding of the HTTP protocol.
- Android Kitkat and above dev experience.
- Experience with RxAndroid/RxJava preferred
- Experience in working with Blue Bird devices is a plus
- Self driven to lead the project and offshore members.
- Must be able to understand overall design, create design, guide and mentor team and ensure development is done per design.
- Must be able to lead a team at onshore and with maximum % of offshore team. Must be able to drive entire team to achieve development goals
- Must ensure deliverables are completed within time and with better quality. Follow the complete SDLC of project development, emphasize on coding standard, code review
- Bachelors in Computer Science / IT / IS or related fields
