Kelly IT Resources in looking for a Project Manager for a long-term contract role located in San Jose, CA.Responsibilities:t
Will be responsible for managing project plans/ schedules for test infrastructure, framework and tools development for client’s storage products.t
Is expected to drive the cross Geo & cross-functional team to deliver the infrastructure and tools for firmware and validation development and deployment. This includes firmware/validation framework, debug/FA tool, automation and other validation tools.t
The candidate will work closely with validation team, architecture team, firmware team and software team to drive requirements, prioritize feature sets and ensure timely release.t
The candidate is expected to work with the development team using Agile software development processes, and facilitate communication among team members across multiple locations, track schedules and report progress.t
Program manager will report to Director of Firmware verification team.t
Create and manage project plans, schedules and HC resource plans, for a verification team of 30+ Engineerst
Take up scrum master role and implement Agile process for project management and have daily standup meetings to run the processt
Drive infrastructure/framework/tool projects for new SSD products, helping teams deliver innovative solution on time and with high qualityt
Drive project roadmap, cross functional project meetings, status review and release schedule in support of test development, validation, and product launch milestonest
Lead team to prioritize feature requests to deliver high quality test framework and tools Drive infrastructure/tools deployment in engineering labs.t
Drive various validation and tools processes
Qualifications:t
Bachelor’s degree in CE, CS, EE, or related technical fieldt
3-6 years of experience in engineering program/project management or related experiencet
Good project management skills. Demonstrated working knowledge on software/validation developmentt
Good understanding of Agile JIRA process & sprint planning for software project managementt
Ability to assess project deliverable risk and forecast issues in advancet
Ability to manage in an iterative, fast paced development environmentt
Ability to facilitate technical discussions, planning sessions, requirements gathering, and daily bug scrubst
Ability to influence engineering team without direct report structuret
Good excel/ppt/word skills to create reports & summary for managementt
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillst
Self-motivated and self-directed. Ability to multi task and meet deadline.
