Senior Human Resource (HR) Generalist

Location: Milpitas, CA

Job Type: Permanent We are looking for a dynamic Sr. HR Generalist to support our growing organization in Milpitas. You will need to partner with all levels of employees throughout the company. You will work side by side with senior leadership to assist in the development of the HR strategy for growing, retaining, and engaging their respective departments. You will be a trusted advisor and an integral member of the business.Additionally, you would be self-motivated, can work independently, deal well with ambiguity, and have a can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Experience with US Benefits including medical, 401K, Time Off and understand the overall employee onboardings / exit and Employee Engagement.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
  • Participate in training or Health Safety & Environment (HSE) issues if necessary.
  • Ensure site compliance with ADA, FMLA, EEO, AAP regulations
  • Maintain employee files and records and answer employee queries related to payroll
  • Administer compensation and benefit plans
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
  • Provides support and guidance to HR team members, management, and other staff when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise; may be required to administer and execute routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as providing reasonable accommodations, investigating allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Identify and learning and development programs and initiatives as per compliance regulations
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of US Labor Law on various subject matters like Workers Compensation, FMLA & CFRA, wage & hour regulations.
  • Experience with US Benefits including medical, 401K, Time Off and understand the overall employee onboardings / exit and Employee Engagement.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and ADP Workforce Now is a big plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
  • BSc/BA in Business administration or relevant field
  • PHR/SPHR certification is preferable but not required.
