On our team, you would be responsible for leading the System and Solution testing of the next generation of routing & packet-optical products for the Service Provider and Service Provider Data Center segments. Our product portfolio includes the Cisco 8000,NCS6K, NCS5K, NCS5.5K, ASR9K, CRS, Xrv9K and Optical (NCS1K/2K/4K) platforms that run on the Cisco IOS-XR next generation OS. We love having the opportunity to work directly with the best minds in the networking industry, and hope you will join us!What You will Do:Working in the Platform Test and Feature Test group, you will have the opportunity to Architect, Design, Develop, Test and Automate the cutting edge features which run on some of the world’s largest Service Provider Routers that are continuously evolving towards enabling the support of newer and exciting customer business paradigms. You will be interacting and working closely with some of the finest talent pool in the industry - where you will find that work is both fun and challenging.Role & Responsibilities:You will be joining our New Feature Test team and work on the next generation networks for the SP Routing portfolio of XR based products. Your Key responsibilities will include:
Executing test plans for new features
Raising defects to track issues and effectively debug them
Automating test cases using open source Python, REST, and GO programmingTechnical skills:To be successful, you should have:
Strong knowledge of programming and scripting languages (Python, Go)
Basic knowledge of Computer Networking (L2, L3), and Virtualization
Experience working with Linux OS, Bash scriptingQualifications:We are looking for someone who:
Has a Recent MSEE/CS or a related major graduate BSEE/CS combined with 3+ years of experience
Has a Minimum GPA of a 3.0 or higher
Has a Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals and software engineering, and an aptitude for learning new technologies
Possesses creative analytical skills and excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills
Has Excellent verbal and written skills
