RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in search of a Systems Engineer II in Milpitas, CA.
Summary:The System Validation Engineer will support company development teams, working on test planning, development, execution, and analysis through EVT, DVT, and customer qualification phases of testing on various Client SSD products.Responsibilities: Responsible for defining and tracking test plans through product development cycles from EVT through customer qualification and MP Monitor regression and qualification test cycles Perform first level FA and triage of failures Prepare and present testing statistics, and work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to drive issues through closure Characterize and Optimize SSD's for Performance and Power across Platforms Lead bug review meetings Scope test tools and customer hardware requirements, ensuring the lab has appropriate customer systems and debug tools Work on automating different lab instruments Power Analyzers, Quarch to characterize Power/Thermal/LatencyREQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, or related technical field 2+ years of experience in validation of consumer products Experience with storage devices a plus Strong analytical problem-solving skills to troubleshoot variety of system-level issues down to system/device Hardware/Software experience Experience in scripting languages a plus Experience with computer systems, components, and various OS (Windows, Linux, DOS) Scripting Language: Python Consumer Products experience Debugging experience Systems Engineering experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Systems level experience Solid State Drive/SSD experience Statistical experience a plus Systems Validation experience Test Planning Creation of Test Plans Validation Engineering experience HW/SW experience Linux experience Product Development experience Python scripting experienceKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
