One of my direct client is actively looking for WI FI QA Engineer and is a Day 1 onsite role and can schedule the interview immediately. Please apply only after reading the skills required as this is not Automation or SDET role.

Job Description:

Title: Wi-Fi/Wireless Test Engineer

Location: Milpitas, CA (Day 1 onsite)

Duration: 12+ Months

Summary:The candidate should be a talented engineer that can show initiative, adaptability to a challenging environment, problem solving skills, and an understanding of QA processes.

Required Qualifications

BA/BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field.
Software testing methodology, including writing & execution of test plans and debugging.
4+ years of relevant work experience in embedded software/device QA.
Knowledge of Wi-Fi (802.11) protocols such as 802.11ac, 802.11ax, 802.11e, 802.11n, 802.11k, 802.11r, 802.11v etc.

Knowledge of DFS ( DFS selection, Zero wait )
Knowledge of WPA2/WPA3
Knowledge of Wi-Fi Stats

Knowledge of Layer 2, Layer 3 networking protocols such as Bridging, Routing, IPV6, VLAN, NAT, DNS and DHCP.
Experience with Wi-Fi testing tools is a big plus.
