Please visit find a park for additional park information.ResponsibilitiesExecute a wide variety of established IT tasks associated with personal computers, network servers, Cisco switches, routers, WiFi access points, printers and other peripheral equipment.Coordinate access to systems for all employees with Human Resources staff.Provide training to employees on proper protocols for all facets of the IT program.Responsible for maintaining parkwide IT inventory to assist with property inventory and equipment replacement calls and budget and procurement submissions to region.Assist with development and tracking of annual IT budget and maintains regional spend plans for the parks.RequirementsConditions of EmploymentQualificationsIn order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. (NOTE: Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.)ANDSPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Have at least one (1) year of specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the Federal service (obtained either in the private or public sectors) performing the following: (1) working with system managers, computer specialists and assistants, and subject matter end users performing basic assignments in operations or procedures related to computer capabilities and processing techniques; (2) assisting users by installing, configuring, and setting up personal computers (PCs), peripheral equipment, and software; (3) operating a personal computer and performing limited data entry, editing, program execution, and data and/or file retrieval; and (4) operating computer peripheral equipment and distributing data systems via PCs.OREDUCATION: Have one (1) full year (18 semester hours) of graduate level education from an accredited or pre-accredited institution that includes major study in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks. (NOTE: You must submit a copy of your transcripts as proof of any claimed education).ORSUPERIOR ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT: Have completed all the requirements for a bachelor's degree in a curriculum that is qualifying for this position, from an accredited college or university, and meet one of the requirements for Superior Academic Achievement based on the following: (1) class standing (upper third standing in graduating class based on completed courses); (2) grade-point average (3.0 or higher out of a possible 4.0 as recorded on the official transcript, or as computed based on 4 years of education, or as computed based on courses completed during the final 2 years of the curriculum); or (3) election to membership in a national scholastic honor society.
