General Contractor seeks a multifaceted individual with a construction background, preferably in commercial electrical construction or underground utility, who has knowledge of estimating, purchasing and job coordination. The primary responsibility for this position is to support project planning and construction.Job Responsibilities:Review project schedules and continually update Management, Foreman and Field SuperintendentKeep current information for all shipping dates, quantities, and any other information to minimize or eliminate production delaysAssist in any take-off and pricing and input of change orders in a timely mannerMaintain record sets of contract drawings and specificationsMaintain drawing logs and update as requiredAssist in analysis of all change ordersEntry of estimates and production review in multiple software systems.Review field reports; provide summary reports to Assistant, Project or Senior Project Manager as required.Assist with preparation of proposals.Create and maintain project submittal log.Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator/ Project AdministratorKnowledge of advanced functions of Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, Power Point, and Internet Explorer.Must have excellent communication skills and writing skills.Be familiar with plan takeoffs, RFI's, submittalsFor immediate consideration, send an updated resume About Aerotek:We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
