Large, busy multi-line franchise motorcycle store is looking for a motivated motorcycle enthusiast with strong people skills, good typing and computer skills. Motorcycle service writer and/or technician experience is a plus but we will train the right person. Lightspeed EVO experience is a real plus.
Duties include but are not limited to:
Schedule service appointments.
Greet customers and assist in loading and unloading of their vehicle.
Provide a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
Attempt to sell department services to every customer.
Contact customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promise time, explain cost and time requirements in detail, and get proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
Advise customers on the care of their vehicle and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications, using maintenance schedules.
Explain work performed and start every vehicle to demonstrate to customer vehicle is working properly.
Communicate with Techs to provide accurate information about repairs and obtain requested parts.
Stay current on vehicle recalls.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all store employees.
Full time Tues-Fri 10-7, Sat 9-6. Firm schedule, no exceptions.
