Adecco is assisting a local almond client recruiting for Production Line Sorter jobs in Modesto, California. These Production Line Sorter jobs are temp to hire opportunities!Production Line Sorter jobs require candidates to extract of foreign material from raw almond meats. within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities for Production Line Sorter jobs include but are not limited to: Manually removing specified kernels and foreign materials from moving belts (conveyor) to meet customer specifications.
May perform audits and document findings.
May collect and log all pick-out from sorting belts.
Other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for Production Line Sorter jobs:
Must have good dexterity and visual ability to detect and manually extract foreign material from product on an electronically paced conveyor line.
Basic math skills and communication skills.
Must be able to communicate quality issues and to management and QA personnel.
Duties consist of repetitive tasks that are closely related and involve few choices. Incumbents are expected to identify problems and assist in solving.
Must understand HACCP processes, Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs) and safety practices.
Overtime as necessary is a requirement to the performance of this position.
Must be able to work in noisy environment, around equipment, in the exposure to elements and in dust or heights.
