Work Hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (One hour lunch) Monday through Friday
Location: Newman, California (minimal occasional work in Atwater, California)
Must have current California Drivers License, reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
Must be able to understand, speak, and read English.
Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 lbs. over rough, unfinished, uneven surfaces.
Daily duties will vary but may include:
1) Mop, brush, or spread cleaning solutions, or other compounds over surfaces.
2) Spray materials such as water, sand, steam, through hoses to clean surfaces.
3) Sweep, rake and pressure-wash surfaces.
4) Lawn maintenance - mowing, weeding, watering, raking, edging, trimming.
5) Apply caulking and/or sealants by hand or using caulking guns.
6) Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
7) Dig ditches and trenches, backfill excavations, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, pneumatic tampers, and rakes.
8) Dig post holes and set posts for signs.
9) Collect and properly dispose of trash, yard clippings, weeds and debris.
10) Load, unload, identify and distribute building materials, machinery & tools, to the appropriate locations.
11) Mix ingredients to create compounds for covering or cleaning surfaces and for weed or pest abatement.
12) Unload and place erosion control devices in appropriate locations. Remove and properly dispose of deteriorated erosion control devices.
13) At the end of the work day, lock all doors, windows, garage doors and containers.
