Marketing Manager Position

DTI’s marketing team is looking for an organized, enthusiastic marketing manager to help

drive company sales. In this role, the marketing expert will develop and drive end-to-end

marketing strategy, execute, and provide ROI as proof of performance. The marketing

manager will conduct market research, lead and manage all marketing projects closely

with the VP of Marketing. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for collaborating with

various departments including but not limited to sales, VP of R & D, product marketing, and

the estimating team. The manager will also be responsible for tradeshows, vendor

relations and external restaurant vendors to execute highly effective marketing tradeshows

and events to increase market awareness. The Marketing Manager should be able to

conduct market research and provide a monthly report on ROI and campaign metrics to

ensure company goals are met.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Marketing Strategy

- Collaborate with upper management to ensure messaging aligns with business

objectives and branding. Identify opportunities for growth and development.

- Research company industries and identify marketing objectives to align with the

company’s overall objectives and execute to support company business goals.

- Research & develop marketing strategy based on company’s overall objectives.

- Conduct ongoing market research on target accounts & key customers.

- Monitor market trends and adapt strategies as needed to market to new and existing

customers.

- Set measurable goals and KPIs to evaluate the success of the marketing strategy.

Branding

- Develop content, maintain brand & messaging for the company.

- Ensure all branding is consistent and cohesive across all marketing channels for sharing

internally & externally.

Website Management

- Manage weekly meeting notes and updates to send to VP & CEO.

- Website management, content update, and sync with marketing VP, and project manage

marketing project deadlines.

- Oversee creatives for the website.

Social Media

- Create and manage the social calendar weekly to ensure timely posts.

- Work closely with the marketing VP & CEO on marketing campaigns and strategy.

- Track all social analytics for weekly progress review.

Budget Management

- Manage marketing budgets, including allocating funds to different campaigns and

tracking expenses to ensure spending is within the marketing budget.

- Ensure the team is operating within the budget.

ROI Tracking

- Measure ROI and track the return on investment of marketing campaigns to demonstrate

the value of marketing efforts and inform future decisions.

- Use data and insights to optimize marketing strategies and budget allocations.

- Monitor and analyze digital campaign performance, adjusting as needed.

- Identify areas for improvement and optimize strategies accordingly.

- Make recommendations to upper management based on data and insights.

Vendor Relations

- Maintain relationships with vendors, such as printers, graphic designers, and advertising

agencies, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.

- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality deliverables.

- Manage vendor relations with event vendors from trade shows to restaurants to plan

company lunch & learn events.

Company Events & Tradeshows

- Research industry tradeshows and events.

- Create and manage the company event calendar.

- Suggest industry lead gen tradeshows to upper management as event marketing strategy.

- Work closely with internal teams to plan, set up, and register to attend events.

- Provide and track event success at the end of every event.

- Plan & execute quarterly company lunch & learn events.

Giveaway Items

- Place & manage customer giveaway orders.

QUALIFICATIONS

This position requires the following qualifications (at a minimum):

- Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing and communications.

- 3+ years of experience working in industrial, construction, or technology.

- Execution-oriented, creative, and able to bring innovative ideas that increase engagement

within a fast-paced, high-growth market segment.

- Ability to effectively gather and utilize market research to identify and analyze the needs

of the market, the market size, and the competition.

- Outstanding organizational and analytical skills to manage multiple projects in a fast-

paced environment with competing priorities, and frequent distractions and interruptions.

- Ability to manage projects across various, regionally distributed teams.

- Experience with marketing automation tools and Microsoft Outlook tools.

- Strong project management and process improvement skillset.

- Ability to negotiate contracts and establish networks and strategies with marketing

vendors and distributors.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and demonstrated ability to initiate

and maintain cooperative, collaborative, effective working relationships with external

partners, staff employees, and customers.

- Collaborate with other department & teams.

- Collaborate with sales, product management, and customer service teams to ensure

consistent messaging and branding to ensure all marketing efforts are aligned with the

company’s overall objectives.

- Work closely with the Estimating team to gather project timelines and imagery for

marketing activities.

- Work closely with VP of R & D for new product launches and product updates.

- Must have very strong SEO optimization skills, be very proficient in lead generation, and

have a strong graphic design background.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing (MA/MS or MBA preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000 - $95,000
