"Wanted" Kitchen & Bath Sales Assistant in a new & beautiful retail showroom in Modesto. It's a Full time position-$12.50 hour + commission, must have sales and customer service experience.
We are seeking a talented, highly motivated Kitchen and Bath person with charm and SALES EXPERIENCE. You are to sell the products and the construction job.
About the Position:
This position requires interaction with customers to assist them in making product choices according to their individual needs. Whether the interaction occurs in our showroom, over the phone or in the community, the objective is always to provide both design and flooring advice that will make the customers buying decision easier. Therefore, the ideal candidate must be willing to divide his or her work time between the showroom floor, the phone, and prospecting for new clients.
Although not an all-inclusive list, the following are some of duties and expectations for this position:
Working with the customer from beginning to end of the sale by communicating in a timely and professional manner.
Helping customers with their kitchen and bath product choice through decorating and design advice.
Using computer database to research availability of merchandise and to process orders.
Writing sales orders and processing the necessary paperwork for that order.
Greeting customer on the sales floor and qualifying them to help determine the best kitchen and bath items for their lifestyle and needs.
Layout and work up an estimate for customers.
Maintain showroom by keeping samples and displays neat, current, and clean.
Creating cabinet layout drawings utilizing our design software.
Following up on and closing sales.
Office administration duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong sales and closing capabilities
Should be a team player
Excellent computer skills
Solid basic math skills
Attention to detail
Able to multitask, meet deadlines, and follow through on projects to completion
Strategic Thinker - ability to problem solve
