We currently have an opportunity for some low voltage/telecom techs in different markets. We do Installs, service, and Time and material calls
This will be a 1099 contractor based with good pay. Part or full time your choice. We pay hourly for your on site time. If for any reason any site turns out to be a quick site then it is converted to piece work so you get the better pay. Working late, weekends and holidays will pay more.
this can be Local up to 50 miles radius or more than that with good travel compensation if you would like to do some light travel
We need you to be committed, responsible and a very reliable individual and you must have a reliable vehicle and all the tools needed to do the work. We will provide, cables, jacks etc.
Basic back ground check will be completed
We can provide a flexible schedule if you wish as long as we are communicating all of your schedule needs and demands
Work Scope and Requirements
Install, inspect, repair, replace and terminate Cat5,Cat6, some Coax, Low Voltage wires and devices. Can possibly do some alarm and CCTV work if you are comfortable with it.
Check and extend and terminate circuits, telephone wires phone jacks some POS's printers etc
Install, troubleshoot and repair network cabinets, access points, some cutovers and conversions, upgrade routers or switches with remote tech support help. Speakers, Audio zones etc
You need to Follow and respond to work orders and update office with scheduling and work-related tasks and issues
You need to Submit work orders weekly and communicate with office whenever needed
Must be efficient and act professional all the time, Be on time and within required window or hard time specified. Talk to clients with respect, and keep it work related and leave sites clean. Follow procedures of checking in and closing out and submitting Tasks and all paperwork to our clients.
