We are looking to hire a delivery driver to deliver pre-ordered batteries to our National Accounts on a 26ft box truck w/ lift gate. CLASS B is preferred but not necessary. Must know how to operate electric pallet jack as well. Pay starts at $18.00 hr depending on experience and license. This delivery job does require daily lifting of batteries 50+ lbs. Home every night with weekends off!

WEEKENDS OFF
Consistently services an assigned set of customers along a predetermined route.
Job Components:
Deliver batteries to National Account dealers.
Focus on customer service.
Invoice all units that fail to last the full warranty period.
Load and unload truck daily with lift or pallet jack
Collect junk batteries.
Maintain the route by keeping displays clean and keeping dealer list up to date.
Daily lifting of new and old batteries
Qualifications:
Clean driving record required.
A current class B license preferred
Good communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must have a current, valid state drivers license.
Minimum 1 year customer service and delivery experience
Frequently use independent judgment when making decisions.
Work Environment:
Use hands regularly to grasp or handle, talk and hear, stand and walk.
Specific vision abilities include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 50+ lbs.
Exposure to battery warehouse conditions such as exposure to moving equipment mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals.
