Property Management Firm seeks an experienced and detail oriented bookkeeper with excellent communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
A/R
Prepare and distribute recurring invoices
Calculate and assess fees of various types
Bank reconciliation for multiple entities
Prepare financial reports
Reconciliation of general ledger accounts
Assist clients with questions of varying difficulty
Work with other both outside and within the company to address accounting questions &
Challenges
Preparation of month end financial statements
Preparation of year end financials
Assist CPA with financial analysis details
Prepare and review budgets
All other bookkeeping functions
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will bring with them the following:
Strong bookkeeping/accounting experience
Experience with real estate accounting principles a strong plus
Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage various tasks at one time
Highly flexible and comfortable working with a diverse set of people
Excellent work ethic with the ability to work independently
This is a part-time accounting position. If the right candidate prefers full time, additional non-accounting responsibilities are available. We are a small company with a very friendly work environment and we would rather create the right job for the right person.
Compensation commensurate with experience.
