We are a small CPA firm in Carmel with room for the right individual to excel. We are seeking a Tax Senior with three years or more of relevant experience. This is permanent full time position. As a Tax Senior your essential duties and responsibilities will include:
Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, trust and estate returns
Prepare and review payroll and payroll tax filings
Prepare and review sales calculations and sales tax returns
Respond to IRS & State tax notices
Research & Prepare tax analysis and projections
Prepare documentation for audit representation
Preparation of working trial balances and proposing underlying journal entries
Financial statement preparation, including compilations and reviews
Manage and develop client relationships
Review work of others
Support and develop firm best practices
Key Skills and Qualifications:
Three years of experience in a CPA firm
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
Licensed CPA or CPA Candidacy
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Motivated to accept all challenges and learn continuously
Work well with others
Knowledge of technology software tools
Experience with tax software and paperless office
