We are looking for an experienced Banquet Manager/Coordinator. Please read carefully below some of the duties, if you are interested please send us a cover letter with a short introduction of yourself and your resume.
Contact new event inquiries by via email, phone or in-person.
Review and confirm banquets details for upcoming events, and new ones booked.
Compose a Banquet Event Order for new events.
Take details and deposits for new events approved by Owner.
Go over the BEO with the Chef, Banquet Lead Server and Bartender on duty to ensure all menu items and special request are understood and implemented.
Manage preparation upcoming new events.
Supervise employees during set-up and banquet events.
Place advance order request with management for necessary linens, glassware, or other items needed for the events.
Arrive in ample time to ensure the setup of tables meets the floor plan for the event.
Up sale and market banquet packages when convenient.
Meet with varies Hotel Banquet managers, MCCVB and Chamber of Commerce for possible
Ensure employees follow company policies and rules.
Some Qualifications:
1 year experience with event planning and managing.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work all major holidays and weekends.
