POSITION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each job function satisfactorily, which includes the following essential job functions:
Hands-on cleaning and maintaining outdoor areas including patios, and pools
Care of outdoor furniture, cushions, pillows
Comfortable and skilled at climbing ladders for various projects
Assisting with heavy lifting, special projects, and, daily, weekly, monthly and seasonal houseman task lists
Willingness to follow routine checklists perfectly in-order every time to ensure consistency of service
Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Maintain an excellent attendance record, rarely absent from work.
Replenish guest rooms and baths with amenities, supplies, linen and towels.
Inspect rooms for repairs or fixtures that are not working properly; replace batteries, light bulbs, etc.
Report requests for repairs to supervisor or maintenance department in accordance with hotel procedures.
Greet guests in a friendly manner
Qualifications
Minimum Experience, Education, Skill & Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing/pulling, or scrubbing.
Strong attention to detail required.
Must be able to follow written and verbal directions.
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
Must be flexible in hours and days available to work, including weekends and holidays.
Must be capable of working in a fast paced environment with multiple interruptions.
