This is a unique opportunity to support a program for international university students along with other Housing Coordinators. This position starts mid-April to mid-September. Assist in overseeing and monitoring international Work & Travel employees ensuring a safe and well run program. Responsible for check-in and check-out of employees. Ensures that employees are following the housing rules while on property. Assist in performing administrative duties including reconciling records and issuing notices. Will be the primary back-up person in absence of the Work and Travel Administrator.
This position is seasonal starting in mid April and ending after Labor Day in September. Must be available to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and holidays. Must be on call and carry a cell phone 8 hours a day during the 5 days scheduled. May need to drive own car (negotiable) and be available if needed to transport Work & Travel employees.
Training and Experience: At least 6 months in event management, recreation, housing management or related experience. Must possess strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills. Must have the ability to work with people in a positive and friendly manner, to work with groups as a team leader, make effective decisions and to solve problems in a fair, professional, diplomatic, friendly, firm and efficient manner.
