Ethnobotanica, a licensed marijuana cultivator, is seeking laborers to work in our cultivation facility. We are a certified organic facility.
Duties include filling pots, transplanting, harvesting, scrubbing floors, taking cuttings, watering, cleaning tools and equipment, transplanting some more, spraying plants, checking drippers, checking for pests and disease and reporting to manager, and other various grunt labor.
What matters more than anything is your work ethic, physical ability, and willingness to get dirty. You will be carrying heavy pots around two days a week, cleaning out fertilizer dosers that can smell like sewage, and other such various activities.
For those that don't mind sweating a bit, it is an awesome work environment full of good people who get along well.
Although, if you think this sounds like a "cool" job where you will get to hang out and smoke pot all day, you couldn't be further from the truth. There is no cannabis use or being lazy during work hours. There are strict time protocols in place for each duty so that we stay on schedule. All growers are expected to work 40 hours per week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily (with an hour lunch), be on time, and enthusiastically work overtime when requested. Whenever someone calls in often or is always showing up late, it just puts a heavier load on everyone else.

There is an NCIC fingerprinted background check ran by a local police department that you must take prior to employment. You may not have any felony convictions or crimes of "moral turpitude" on your record to be employed by us.
