Pacific Plug & Liner, a sister company to Smith Gardens, has exciting opportunities for anyone that would like to join our team at our Watsonville, CA Site.
Pacific Plug & Liner was founded in October 1999 and is located on the beautiful California Central Coast with a climate ideal for plant and flower production. We have approximately 290,000 sq. ft. dedicated to growing young plants. Pacific Plug & Liner features a state-of-the-art production facility, ensuring consistent and superior quality.
JOB FUNCTION:
Multiple departments.
JOB DUTIES:
Work in a greenhouse environment, with option to share time in office and greenhouse
Learn our systems used in production, inventory, shipping, customer service, purchasing and logistics.
Attention to detail
Embrace our culture of Safety and continuous improvement
Able to follow, update and create new Standard Operation Procedures (SOP)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing, in person, and via phone or radio with all levels
of staff.
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred, both verbal and written.
QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION:
Attention to detail and high degree of organization
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Must be able to work well with all departments
