Small Monterey law firm seeing a paralegal with federal civil court experience for work on Sec. 1983, wrongful death action involving an autistic child killed by a teacher in a private school as well as other students hurt by school staff. Must have litigation experience working in a federal venue on organizing files, preparing motions, experience in researching law and drafting responsive and other pleadings in this type of matter. Actual case is in Sacramento, Eastern District. Position part-time with full-time work as necessary in this matter. Possible permanent position in future. Remote work feasible. Salary commensurate with experience.
