Marketing Coordinator
The Marketing Coordinator will primarily be responsible for supporting the Hospitality Marketing Manager and the Folktale Events Producer through Social Media, Public engagement, and Press engagement. Job responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Generate on brand content for social media platforms while adhering to a content schedule & direction from the Marketing Manager.
Interact with people over social media such as liking posts, following accounts, requesting tag reposts, reposting stories, etc. All interaction must be on brand and appropriate.
Update event calendars for FolktaleWinery.com and other local listings such as SLH Artisans and SeeMonterey.com
Generate "buzz" for events by generating creative posts, posting in appropriate local groups, and other strategies.
"Street team" duties such as handing out flyers and posting flyers nearby.
Research and implement social media trends such as hashtags, new platforms, and new content formats to keep our brand relevant.
Keep digital assets and media clearly labeled and organized.
Assist in writing press releases, blog posts, articles, and other copy as directed.
Collect concert content from all media platforms, track artist's posts and stories of Folktale.
Help Folktale Event's Producer with organizing digital assets of wine garden artists.
Learn Eventbrite to help with creating events, emails and resolving issues.
Find relevant articles and media for upcoming artists and performers to use in social media posts.
