Succulent Gardens is hiring a Delivery Driver/ Production Team Member to help with delivering customer orders.
Succulent Gardens is a boutique nursery, dedicated to the growing of over 400 varieties of quality succulent plants, both popular and rare. Our wholesale customers include garden centers, landscapers, florists, corporate clients and creative entrepreneurs. We also are open to the public for retail sales.
The nursery covers over three acres and our drought-tolerant plants are displayed both in greenhouses and outside. Examples of the plants growing in containers and in the landscape may be viewed throughout the nursery. Sizes range from small 2" containers to large specimens.

The Delivery Driver/Production Team position entails the following:
- Delivering wholesale orders to nurseries/ customers in the Bay Area and surrounding areas 1-2 days per week
- Packing/ Shipping wholesale orders
-Watering/ Planting succulents
- Providing excellent customer service for our customers
Qualified applicant will:
- Have a high school degree or GED
- Have nursery or horticulture experience
- Must have open availability 8am-4:30pm Monday - Friday
- Must be capable of lifting 40 lbs
- Must be comfortable driving a 20ft box truck
- Have a warm, upbeat disposition
- Be a self-starter who can finish tasks unsupervised and has good attention to detail
- Be a team player who can coordinate activities with other members of the team
- Have good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Be able to multi-task, think on your feet and contribute ideas
- Be enthusiastic about plants and providing excellent customer service
Preferred candidates will have one or more of the following:
- Experience delivery driving
- Prior nursery/horticulture experience
