ZANTMAN ART GALLERIES - Carmel's longest running fine art gallery since 1959, is seeking an Art Consultant to join our team who can create an amazing experience for every client, build lasting relationships and sell lots of art.
PART TIME POSITION:
Hiring for SUN, MON, TUES shifts only, 10am-6pm. $15/hr + Commission on each sale.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Successfully promote and sell art to visitors, past clients, and create new clients.
Build sales through calling and emailing potential and past clients.
Actively look for ways to market and reach out to new clients.
Assist clients with frame selection, design and shipping.
Hang paintings, maintain gallery cleanliness and merchandising standards.
Other duties as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Positive Attitude, self-motivated, and excellent follow up skills.
Must be very friendly and a team player always willing to help team members and clients.
Passion and enthusiasm for art (no art background required).
Top notch customer service skills, always making certain every client has a wonderful experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift 50 pounds, carry and hang art.
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years of sales or customer service experience. No art experience required, we can teach you.
