Job Description

This is a Thursday - Monday 4pm-12am shift

The Ecommerce Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing a wide variety of warehouse activities conducted within the distribution center. This individual will ensure the timely and efficient production of units being processed through the Distribution Center. They will conduct on-going evaluations of all job functions within the DC for effectiveness. Additionally, evaluate current processes and standards, recommend and implement changes as needed, and conduct necessary staff training. People management responsibilities include hiring and training, planning and assigning daily work, conducting performance appraisals, addressing performance issues, and resolving problems, while performing and maintaining all productivity, safety, and operations SOPs.

  • Must be able to coordinate, plan and direct all activities as it relates to the timely processing of product from receipt, replenishment, pick/pack and shipping
  • Ability to work with Corp. Allocations, Production and Retail.
  • Answer all Corp e-mail request upon call.
  • Will be responsible for inventory and processing procedures, specific to E-Commerce.
  • Monitor all reports for any open pick tickets, as well as, daily filtering report.
  • Develop productivity standards for the department.
  • Communicate with appropriate departments when needed to resolve issues.
  • Work closely with all DC Managers / Supervisors.
  • Hold department procedures and safety meetings.
  • Evaluate employees` performance
  • Coaches Supervisors on Managing Associate Performance (MAP)
  • Conducts regular staff meetings to keep staff abreast of shifts in priorities and to keep communication open and continual
  • Manages all administrative tasks and functions associated with responsible department(s).
  • Selects, motivates, and trains qualified staff
  • Researches inefficiencies in problem areas and makes recommendations in methods, procedures, or systems, to improve productivity and quality
  • Maintains daily paperwork, such as time and production records
  • Interfaces with senior leadership on production planning and staffing needs
  • Attends daily shift production meeting to report projected volumes & issues to senior management.
  • Responsible for creating an effective team culture which recognizes individual and team performance, while maintaining an issue free environment in a demanding work environment.
  • Partners with the Human Resources Department regarding reviews, interviewing, hiring, employee evaluations, terminations, and corrective counseling within responsible area.

  • CAL OSHA certified on a Reach, Order Picker and/or Turret Truck, Pallet Jack equipment according to department specifications
  • Experience using RF on a WMS system required, PKMS specifically preferred
  • PC, MS Office experience required
  • Good conceptual knowledge of relational database
  • Ability to keep the department OSHA Compliant
  • Ability to contribute

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

5+ year(s) experience in warehousing/Processing
