Android Triage Engineer/Analyst

Looking for an Android Triage Engineer/Analyst to look at all incoming bugs and determine if they are with an audio device, a SW issue or phone issue. This person will need to dig into the tickets and ensure that they are sent to the correct orgs/teams.

Scope:

Identify any duplicate issues/bugs.

Check the conditions for reproducing the issue.

Review logs.

Find the SW module responsible for the root cause.

Update bugs based on what was unearthed in investigations.

Reassign an issue to the most appropriate owner/team.

Required:

Bring up & debug a 1P (first-part) or 3P (third-party) app on a specific device.

Triage issues.

Run a specific performance assessment on devices.

Ability to keep up to date on managing Android devices: flashing side loading root access, etc.

Experience with ADB (Android Debug Bridge).

Pluses:

Develop test apps as needed to ease & automate the triage process.

Develop a script that can speed up an issue reproduction.
