Chemist - Wet-Lab Looking for a chemist who'll work on developing/exploring a variety of metal organic frameworks (MOF) for various applications. This person will work closely with materials engineers in order to develop a variety of MOF's through wet-chemistry synthesis, test/characterize corresponding MOF's material properties like catalysis effect, gas storage, gas separation, etc. through custom built testers & analyze and manage testing results. MOF - Metal Organic Frameworks experience is a plus but not required.

Scope: • Work within wet-chemistry lab in order to synthesize & post-synthesis functionalize various MOFs • materials. • Test MOF materials performance like BET surface areas, gas storage performance, gas • separation performance, and more. • Use Google productivity SW like Google Sheets, Google Docs & Google Slides. Communicate to the team via document report & presentation.

Required: • Science degree in Chemistry, Materials Engineering or relevant discipline. • Experience in a wet-chemistry lab. Preferably with MOF - "metal organic framework" or inorganic nanomaterials synthesis experience. • Experience with handling moisture & air sensitive chemicals with sufficient safety training with these chemicals. (Experience with powders) • Laboratory experience - Academic/Corporate. • Detail oriented: Capable, capture details in experiments. • Strong communication skills - Written and verbal.

Pluses: • Experience working with MOF's would make someone a shoe in but it's not required - Metal Organic Frameworks
