Project Scope: Our client has an immediate need for a Cloud Operations Engineer with the following skills and experience: Responsibilities:- Playing a critical role developing, deploying, and maintaining the client Cloud Managed Service;
- Work in a highly collaborative team environment to design and implement fault tolerant/highly available and scalable infrastructure on "Major Cloud Providers" to exceed client's internal OLA and customer committed SLAs;
- Support client's commitment to security and compliance by supporting voluntary and compulsory compliance efforts;
- Participate in the client Cloud Managed Service on-call rotation, audit health of infrastructure;
- Create design specifications and demonstrate solutions with detailed documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and charts
- Excellent English language communication skills, verbal and written
- At least 4 years' experience with linux administration and troubleshooting
- At least 4 years' experience administering operational infrastructure
- At least 4 years' experience with scripting languages such as Python
- At least 4 years' experience with command-line utilities such as bash, grep, ssh, powershell, etc.
- At least 4 years' experience with version control systems such as svn, mercurial, git, etc.
- At least 4 years' experience working in a Cloud hosting environment (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Familiarity with software testing concepts including unit testing, functional testing, regression testing, continuous integration testing, and performance testing
