Project Scope: Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Cloud Engineer with the following skills and experience: Responsibilities:- Be a technical expert. Understand deployment patterns and all configurations that support these patterns.
- Work in a highly collaborative team environment to design and implement fault tolerant/highly available and scalable infrastructure on "Major Cloud Providers" to exceed client's internal SLAs and customer committed SLAs.
- Build tools and automation to support client's database features.
- Support client's commitment to security and compliance by supporting voluntary and compulsory compliance efforts.
- Participate in the client Cloud Managed Service Tier 2 on-call rotation, audit health of infrastructure.
- Create design specifications and demonstrate solutions with detailed documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and charts.
- Excellent English language communication skills, verbal and written
- At least 8 years' experience with:
- Linux administration and troubleshooting
- Administering operational infrastructure
- Scripting languages such as Python
- Command-line utilities such as bash, grep, ssh, powershell, etc.
- Version control systems such as git
- At least 5 years' experience working with
- Distributed systems
- Highly scalable and highly available systems
- Cloud hosting environments (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure)
- Configuration-management / automation frameworks like Ansible, Terraform, Vault, Consul and CI/CD tooling and methodologies
- Experience managing and configuring complex multi VPC, multi region, multi cloud network architectures
- Software testing concepts including unit testing, functional testing, regression testing, continuous integration testing, and performance testing
