responsibilities:

You will be an active on-site member of the Client account team supporting the High Performance Computing (HPC) systems at NASA Ames Research Center.

The team supports 4 On-site Supercomputers 16,000+ node, 17+ combined petaflop supercomputer systems with 75 petabytes of temporary storage and an exabyte capable archive system connected in one of the world's largest InfiniBand fabrics.

Day to day operations of the Linux HPC clusters with an emphasis on storage systems Proactively monitor, analyze, and correct system issues

Developing scripts to automate repetitive tasks or tools to enhance support of HPC systems

System performance analysis and tuning Building, installing and supporting user requested software

Support HPC technology evaluations and assessments

Provide significant escalated user support in resolving issues and managing support tickets requests in Remedy 24x7 on-call support and after hours support as required Ad-Hoc on-site HW break-fix work as needed of the HPC systems
