Java Automation Developer in Mountain View, CA

As the Java Automation Developer, you will come in with prior experience utilizing Java or Python (if you don’t primarily work with Java, you must be willing to learn Java) and have mobile testing experience to join this highly collaborative team working on numerous, innovative projects for consumer devices.Our mission is to research and develop new technologies by collaborating with the best and brightest and creating a collaborative environment between industry and academia. Responsibilities:- You will test multiple app functionalities, writing code and executing it into the mobile utilizing Espresso and Java (if you don’t have this experience, you must be willing to learn).
- Build maintainable, high quality and effective automated tests, tools, and framework in Android.
- Analyze production issues, identify test gaps across the entire testing stack and make systemic improvements to Automation testing.
- Help in building Engineering culture that enables quality in all software features across Knox services.
- Analyzing quality data, identifying areas of improvement, and implementing innovation ideas to improve quality.
- 2+ years of experience in Software automation testing.
- Strong coding skills in Java or Python (must be willing to learn Java).
- Proficient in android device testing, automating test cases and test automation tools.
- Experience with algorithms and data structures.
- Excellent understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
- Android Espresso tool experience preferred but not required.
