Location: Mountain View CA duration: 1 yr Duties : Seeking a cloud software engineer(AWS, Go, Python) who has a strong understanding and background in distributed systems. Project is centered mostly on Go and API development that interacts with AWS. Responsibilities include Creation, development and operation of Policy Engine Management Platform that leverages C7N under the hood (C7N enables companies to manage Cloud Security, Governance at scale). Additionally the engineer will work closely with the core team to modernize and automate release management, deployment processes and strategies covering Dev, Test, Stage, and Production environments and collaborate with team members in the improvement of CI/CD practices. The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of Developing, managing, and testing Infrastructure as Code using one of the following CloudFormation, or Terraform. Supporting, monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting services running on cloud with a focus on automated solutions. Designs and develops software applications. Performs coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. Skills: Required Skills & Experience 6+ years programming experience in GoLang (Preferred) 2+ years of experience in Python 6+ years of experience on AWS with focus on services like RDS, DynamoDB, EKS, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, Cloudtrail, Config, Cloudformation. 2+ years of experience in monitoring and logging leveraging Splunk and Wavefront. Sound knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes. Experience developing software delivery leveraging DevOps, and agile practices/methodologies Education (if required) :
