Description:Alila Napa Valley is ready to hire its leader as General Manager currently in the pre-opening stage! Currently in transition to a 68-key Alila hotel located within the luxurious St. Helena district in the Napa Valley. The Hotel will feature an elevated food and beverage program highlighted by a signature, chef-driven restaurant and lounge, 3,500 square-foot spa, unobstructed views of Napa Valley vineyards and hills. The hotel will also offer almost 2,500 SF of flexible meeting space and a state-of-the-art fitness center.Responsibilities of a General Manager include managing the daily hotel operations to achieve planned goals for operational integrity as measured by revenue, house profit, and RevPAR index while maintaining company standards for guest satisfaction, colleague satisfaction, quality assurance, and asset protection. The General Manager will demonstrate leadership and professional image to associates, guests, sales accounts, local community representatives, vendors, and competitors.The General Manager is directly responsible for the success of the property. A hands-on approach is necessary to effectively manage the quality of customer service. The General Manager may also be involved in the interviewing and hiring of new associates.Qualifications:A Bachelor's Degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management or Business is a plus.
Previous General Manager Experience is preferred.
Knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and hotel management systems is a must.
Effective oral and written communication skills
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule
