We are looking for a Technical Project Manager- Energy Storage System. If you're the kind of person who sees a problem, develops a solution, and engineers an improvement no one's asked for yet, then we want to talk with you!

  • In this role you will be embedded within the High Voltage Team and work cross functionally within the Hardware Engineering department, Software Engineering, Product Marketing, and Finance teams. As part of the team, you will support a Sr. Technical Project Manager by maintaining documentation, organizing purchasing, communicating with supply chain, and helping monitor high voltage issues through JIRA.
You will
  • Lead the Energy-Storage System Project Management
  • Maintain High Voltage team Jira tickets, Excel, and Smartsheets
  • Create purchase requests using SAP to support design and testing efforts
  • Build strong relationships with the High Voltage team, Software team, and Power Electronics team
  • Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to ensure successful planning and part delivery
  • Act as a liaison across the organization
  • Plan and prioritize multiple workstreams to streamline efforts
  • Support other efforts, outside of ESS, as necessary
Qualifcations
  • At least 7+ years of experience in engineering and/or manufacturing of new products
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to guide product development in its infancy
  • Willing to support the team as required, no task too big or small
Bonus Points
  • Consistent record of project management, and engineering design
  • Desire to expand into larger project management role
  • Highly interested and excited about new product development
Education
  • MS or BS in related Engineering discipline, PMP, or MBA
