DescriptionJim Park (jim.park@roberthalf.com) is seeking an Accounting Manager for a Healthcare, Hospitals, Social Assistance company. In this position, you will be responsible for leading daily operations such as preparing and/or reviewing appropriate ledger entries and reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger system, preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, assisting with regulatory reporting as applicable, and related duties. The ideal candidate should be able to establish and scale company accounting and finance operations. Ensure close deadlines are met by encouraging and managing the accounting team performance during the closing process
Possess a working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
Assemble a variety of technical accounting policies, procedures, and analyses
Work closely with FP&A and accounting management to create relevant and timely reports on financial data analytics like the monthly flash report, key financial metrics, and actual spend against budgets/outlook
Review and analyze balance sheets and income statement accounts owned by the Senior Accountant
Contribute to the preparation of GAAP financial statements through data analysis, document preparation, integrity validation, and reconciliation processes
Assist in the implementation of NetSuite Financials, including system and process design, data migration, testing, training, and go-forward system administration
RequirementsQualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
A desire to work for a world renown organization – Stanford Health Care and Stanford Medicine.
1+ years of supervisory experience
Healthcare, Hospital, Insurance, and/or larger company accounting experience highly preferred
Understanding of healthcare claims process
Strong understanding of GL within a larger organization.
Will take straight out of public.
