About the job:- Part-Time + weekend availability
- Every other weekend availability is needed.
- ASAP start date
- Prescheduled shifts for 8 hrs.
- Shifts Weekdays: 16: 00
- Weekends: 9: 00, 10: 00, 11: 00, 14: 00
- Taking calls from patients, triaging based on symptoms, and providing home care advice.
- Applies clinical judgment while calmly and effectively responding to emergencies and/or crisis situations.
- Provides telephone triage service through the use of established guidelines to ensure appropriate patient care.
- Communicates professionally and effectively with patients over the phone using medical and listening skills.
- Proficient in using EPIC.
- More than 5 years of acute nursing (hospital) experience
- Clinical Experience in ED, ICU, Urgent Care, Ambulatory Clinics
- Typing Skill: average typing speed is around 40 words per minute (wpm)
- Excellent communication skills with good telephone technique
- Exceptional customer service behavior
- CA RN License for the state of California
- BLS - Basic Life Support
