You will design, develop and enhance Edge and IoT applications. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches their work with vigor and determination. - Design and Develop Data streaming applications using C/C, or Python
- Work closely with a cloud team on designing and architecting high throughput and reliable data streaming solutions over unreliable networks.
- Create and maintain Architecture, Design, Troubleshooting, Deployment, and Configuration documents
- Make key technical implementation decisions and help guide engineering vision
- Develop frameworks, services, and the necessary tooling to help other engineers build on top
- Evangelize good code and solid engineering practices
- Collaborate with other engineers, product owners, and designers to identify and solve challenging problems
- Produce well-designed, factored, and tested code
- Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, OR equivalent work experience
- 12+ years of professional software development experience
- Experience with Data Streaming and Data Engineering application development.
- Proficiency in a major programming language like C/C, Python, or Java
- Extensive knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Working knowledge of networking protocols such as TCP/UDP, and HTTP, as well as communication protocols like MQTT, REST, etc.
- Working knowledge of TLS/SS
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Experience of Embedded development
- Experience with Agile engineering practices
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a cross-functional team on high-profile, critical projects
- Excellence in technical communication with peers and non-technical people alike
- Hardware BSP experience is a plus
