The Telematics Software team works on writing software features interacting with the entire vehicle from Telematics Control Unit to achieve critical vehicle functions like Over-The-Air Software Updates for the Vehicle, etc. These technologies are being pioneered in-house at Lucid and are at the cutting edge. This role is located on-site at Headquarters in Newark, Ca.- ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Validate Software features from developers and perform system testing and integration testing on new features
- Own connectivity software feature validation and new feature integration testing for new feature hand-off to validation team
- Derive feature test cases, continuously implement test cases and add them into automation framework
- Perform test runs at various levels of integration, and document test results
- Report and escalate issues as appropriate and participate in triaging of issues with different teams
- REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Electrical Engineer
- 5+ years of industry experience with System testing and white box testing
- 5+ years of industry experience with Linux Operating System and Computer Networks
- Experience with scripting languages/tools and methods to optimize testing activities.
- Strong Proficiency in Shell Scripting (Bash)
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's in Computer Science, Computer Engineer, Electrical Engineer
- Working knowledge of Automotive Protocols such as CAN, UDS, DoIP etc.
- Working knowledge of Networking protocols such as TCP/UDP, MQTT.
- Experience in scripting languages such as Python is a plus.
- Experience in the field of Automotive Telematics Software is a big plus.
- Understanding of IPC Mechanisms - Sockets, Message Queues, Shared Memory, etc.
