We are currently seeking Test & Validation Engineers in our Software Quality and Validation Engineering team. These positions require a currently enrolled MS student who is passionate about electric vehicles and has a background in software quality assurance and system validation.

Here's a bit more about what a Validation Engineer on our team does,
  • The Role:

  • Create & amend test cases to perform software validation across ECUs
  • Work cross functionally to identify risks and opportunities for product integrity and user experience
  • Drive a validation of high quality, high performance, and product ready software
  • Own and Validate the system feature level end to end testing on vehicle
  • Design, maintain and execute tests including functional, system integration, regression, performance
  • Align and support SQA processes and activities within functional areas such as System, Hardware and Safety
  • Depending on the focus of your graduate degree and experience, you may be working with one of the following teams:

  • OTA (Over the Air)
  • ADAS/AD (Driving Automation)
  • Battery Charging Systems
  • Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of industry or academic experience in Software System validation
  • 1+ years of industry or academic experience with testing of Automotive or Mobile Products
  • Knowledge of Vector CAN or other applicable diagnostic tools
  • Knowledge and experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, UDS and related tools to measure and command signals
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, test case management tools
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum/Sprint methodology as well as waterfall methodology
  • Experience with software development best practices
  • Preferred

  • Internship or work experience as a Validation Engineer in the automotive industry
  • Familiar with Linux platform
  • Experience in in-vehicle validation
  • Knowledge in Python and/or CAPL
  • Bluetooth, MATLAB, Vector tools experiences
  • Education:

  • MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related engineering discipline
  • We are only considering students graduating between December 2022 and June 2023 at this time.
