Role Title: Mobile QA Automation Engineer

Employment Type: Contract

Duration: 6 months

Preferred Location: Must work onsite 5 days per week in Newark, CA office

Role Description: We are seeking a talented QA automation engineer to design testing procedures for our software applications. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing the functionality of applications and designing automated tests to validate their performance. You will also be required to identify bugs, install databases, and collaborate with the software design team.

Responsibilities: Meeting with the software design team to discuss verification protocols. Identifying software application weaknesses and target areas. Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures. Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas. Writing automation scripts and implementing software applications. Designing and installing software databases. Troubleshooting automation software and finalizing system procedures. Identifying quality issues and creating test reports. Collaborating with the design team to solve application faults.

Requirements: To ensure success as a QA automation engineer, you should have advanced programming skills, a keen eye for detail, and excellent project management skills. A skilled QA automation engineer can design and write efficient test procedures for every software application. Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field. Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer. Advanced programming skills including automation systems and databases. Familiarity with programming languages including Python and JavaScript, and testing frameworks including Selenium. Excellent analytical skills. Detailed knowledge of application functions, bug fixing, and testing protocols. Good written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with Selenium, Java/Python Automation.Strong experience with test automation on Android/iOS mobile apps.Good to have experience in using Dart programming language and Flutter Appium driverExperience in using XCode simulator and Android emulator.Experience in designing and implementing Test Automation Frameworks.Expertise in Test Planning, Test Estimation, Test Strategy and Risk Assessment.Analyzing Test Results, Defect Reporting & Tracking on regular basis.Work closely with Business Analysts to understand requirements and translate them in to test cases which capture all possible test conditions and has strong analytical skills in identifying and designing Regression scenarios for the same.Experience in software development lifecycle applying best practices and Agile software development methodologies.Good to have experience in using Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Groovy.NO 3RD PARTIES AND NO SPONSORSHIP AVAILABLE FOR THIS ROLE. MUST WORK FOR US DIRECTLY ON A W2 HOURLY BASIS.
