Software EngineerDuration: 6 month contract

Location: On-Site at Newark, CA

Our client is looking for a Software Engineer experienced in Core integration software and can build systems and have language knowledge for building test cases.Engineers will be working with an ADAS/AD team (advanced driver-assistive systems/Autonomous Driving) working on L2 features such as cruise control, auto parking, etc.

Responsibilities Mainly build, maintenance & test case creation using UI tools. Specifically,

1. Simulator builds creation and distribution- Migrate the custom assets such as maps, vehicle models, HUD into the editor release- Validate the working of these assets against the client- Distribute the builds across SIL rack using ansible script

2. Scenario creation and modifications- Create a range of scenarios for multiple maps for different features (ACC, LKA, LCA etc)- Make changes to the positioning of actors, speeds and other parameters, iterate until it fulfills the scenario requests

3. Custom maps modification- Create custom maps using Matlab tool and export it to the editor- Ensure the mesh aligns with opendrive format and the collision settings are proper- Validate the map by running against the client

Requirements

Experience in programming, C
Experience in simulation world
Experience with validation at scale
Experience in MatLab (programming tool)
Ability to write Test Cases and do build and maintenance
Corporate Experience preferred
