Recommends solutions to new and complex problems, develops innovative strategies, quantifies the competitive performance of the organization's operations and/or markets, evaluates the potential impact of changes and reports on economic forecasts that affect the industry. Responsibilities:
As a principal engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring our Cloud Native Zero-Trust services are feature complete and support our mobile and web clients.
Architect, design and develop on several of our backend services including - Ontology, importers, model building frameworks, Transient learning platform and more
Design and develop Zero Trust Architecture and solutions
Oversee and hands-on completion of projects relating to Zero Trust
Determine Zero Trust requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements
Define and implement cloud and container based Zero Trust security policies and procedures
Experience implementing Service to Service Identity, Authentication and Authorization
Evaluate and recommend new Zero Trust design principles and emerging security products and technologies - Knowledge of open source SPIFFE, SPIRE, OPA, NSM is a plus
Understand and apply Zero Trust security standards to micro services architectures and cloud and container based applications
Identifying integration of zero trust components with rest of application and working with the broader product team to achieve robust integration.
Participates as a Subject Matter Expert for Zero Trust in technical and business discussions with clients, teammates, vendors, partners and /or upper level managers on Lead Zero Trust related architecture projects
Develops and maintains infrastructure systems that connect internal data sets; creates new data collection frameworks for structured and unstructured data.
Qualifications Requirements:
Significant experience building and
shipping applications to production.
More than 4 years working on a
large-scale application
Expert understanding of distributed
systems
Expert experience in Python and
Systems / Infrastructure Architecture
Expertise in the following: Cloud
Compute, Kubernetes, SPIFFE/SPIRE, OPA, NSM
Expertise in Cloud Native
Zero-Trust
Significant experience using AWS and
Google cloud. You are familiar with several of the key technologies with these
providers
Good understanding of security, and
cryptography
Team player that works well in
collaborative situations and start-up environments
A Computer science bachelor’s degree
(or equivalent work experience) is required
Nice
to have:
You understand health data / genomics
/ wearables data
Experience working and contributing to
open source projects
Having worked at a company with
significant scale
Masters Degree in Computer Science (or
equivalent)
