Clinical Programs Director - PS36567Location: Remote (or Work@Home)As part of Anthem’s Oncology & Palliative Care Solutions team, contribute towards member care by leading development and execution of strategic initiatives that leverage provider relationships and advance care quality and value. Partner with stakeholders across the organization to deliver innovative clinical programs that help to position Anthem as industry leading with respect to oncology and palliative care solutions.Specifically, this role will be focused on the design, development, launch and oversight for an innovative “Cancer Navigator” program, which is a member facing program designed to be an end to end solution aimed towards simplifying the complexities of cancer care for our members and connecting with resources. Overall responsibility for assuring that program meets desired outcomes (KPIs and CoC savings goals).Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Directs the development, planning, prioritization and implementation of new and on-going programs.

Works cross functionally to execute key goals that may include internal and external collaborations and partnerships.

Establishes Cancer Navigator program governance and core team to review program key performance indicators and focus on improvements as needed. When needed, this role will assure response to issue escalation; develop program budget and ensure program meets its stated objectives.

This role will serve as the Cancer Navigator program subject matter expert and guide clinical operations in implementing program improvements in response to day to day business issues; researches applicable subject matter practices; and remains aware of industry trends.

Manages business relationships and partners with health plan as well as corporate areas.

Works with Learning and Development teams to develop communication and training documents as well as presentations to suit varied audiences.

Works with teams and leads the develop business cases; measure and report outcomes/value on multiple initiatives.

Provides leadership for activities that that involve resources across multiple departments or business areas

Qualifications

BA/BS degree required; Graduate/advanced training preferred – especially in a health discipline (eg: MPH, MS health sciences). Experience with Cancer Navigation programs is preferred.

10 + years of experience in program management, project management; complex business processes, strategic and business planning or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

6+ years of experience with health care industry and background with oncology and advanced illness care delivery preferred.

Proficient with MS Office suite.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.
